Cyber Security Operations Officer

We have a new position in our Technology Enablement Department for a permanent full time Cyber Security Operations Officer where your main responsibilities will be to develop and implement a security operations (SecOps) practice and framework, a vulnerability and patching framework, and governance for all technology patching/firmware updates. As an expert in your field, you will also develop a security certificates framework and governance for all certificates used for website, domain server and application security and encryption. Moreover, you will respond, mitigate, and escalate threats, both reactively and proactively and coordinate / conduct regular vulnerability assessments to drive a reduction in vulnerabilities.
For such an important position, it is critical that you have significant experience in network or security operations, specifically with experience in contributing to and setting up a security operations functions and driving cybersecurity related service recoveries, and in the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks, governance and reporting implantations. Additionally you will need excellent interpersonal skills and a certification in Network and Security. A certification in ITIL will be highly regarded.
