Wotif as announced that its long serving CEO and Managing Director, Robbie Cooke, has tendered his resignation from the group and is expected to leave the company at the end of the year.

 

Company Chairman Dick McIlwain paid tribute to Mr Cooke’s service to the company.

 

“After seven years of successfully leading the team at Wotif and managing the emergence of the company from private ownership into a class leading ASX listed company he has informed me that he wished to step down to pursue an opportunity outside the travel industry,” Mr McIlwain said.

 

The Wotif Board has announced it has commenced a process to appoint a new CEO, with McIlwain saying Mr Cooke will stay on to provide a seamless transition to a new CEO.
