NBN Co says the number of Sky Muster Plus customers may top 20,000 this year.

The company behind the National Broadband Network (NBN) has estimated that it will have up to 20,000 customers on its Sky Muster Plus product by the end of June, about double the number it had in October last year.

Sky Muster Plus is NBN Co’s 'premium' satellite service, which provides speeds above 25Mbps and offers unmetered access to email, basic web browsing and some software updates.

If the product achieves the expected growth trajectory, the proportion of Sky Muster Plus users will have to grow as high as 18.5 percent by the end of June.
