Software application provider App-DNA has established a new regional office in Sydney, NSW, and a research and development centre in Perth, WA, to take advantage of the opportunities available in the Australian market.

App-DNA supplies application migration technology to companies that are migrating their IT systems from Windows XP and Windows 2000 to Windows 7.

App-DNA’s Australian General Manager Asia Pacific, Glenn Parker said the company’s ‘AppTitude’ application compatibility software platform “is designed to save IT managers a great deal of time by automating the migration process, recognising compatibility issues and recommending a solution.”

“AppTitude streamlines processes to reduce the typical migration cost by around 70 per cent. It drastically reduces the deployment time compared to manual testing and ‘guesswork’ in finding errors,” said Mr Parker.

App-DNA is setting up a regional head office in Sydney and has an R&D centre based in Perth. From Australia, App-DNA will expand its reach further into the Asia-Pacific region.

“Already in Australia we have seen demand for a fast and accurate application migration solution; and initial success in the financial sector—so we are very excited to be bringing App-DNA to the Australia and Asia market spaces,” Mr Parker said.
