The University of Canberra has created a new program to help smooth the sudden transition to a virtual campus.

The uni’s Digital Student Journey (DSJ) program involves integrating its platforms and giving students more control during in their relationships with the university.

Previously, each interface from enquiries and enrolment through to graduation, were treated as singular events.

Now, they will be streamlined into what has been described as “a contextual, intuitive experience”.

Essentially, they will have less admin work to battle through as part of obtaining their degrees.

“In addition to academic outcomes, DSJ also keeps students up-to-date with the wider campus by flagging events and other community initiatives, which is a big part of the environment we strive to provide,” IT project manager Kate Robertson has told tech news outlet iTnews.
