Salary: $100,484.86 – $110,546.24 + 9.5% superannuation + mobile telephone.
Conditions: Permanent full-time (35 hours per week)
Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive local government organisation committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. An exciting opportunity is currently available for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced individual to coordinate our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team.
This role will be responsible supporting the community and organisation through the improvement and expansion of online mapping systems, GIS Mapping and 3D viewing and analysis. The successful applicant will also coordinating activities, manage, deliver and develop staff involved, in the delivery and maintenance of Council’s GIS systems and related actives.
The position holder will also be required to produce accurate and high quality maps; ensuring that map and data integrity and also act as a system own for Council’s GIS Systems, including ensuring the GIS system is fit for purpose, is consistently used by team members to generate reports on service delivery, quality and trends, and develop policies and procedures relevant to the GIS operations.
Demonstrated skills and previous experience in hand held data logger technology, Local Environmental Plan (LEP) maps, and developing mobile mapping solutions, as well as experience using Geogortex, Arc GIS and 3D software would be highly advantageous.
