Senior Business Analyst/ Business Analyst

 

You are a seasoned Business Analyst used to working as a liaison among multiple business stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. You will have the expertise to identify and understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend the solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals while supporting compliance with related legislation, policies and standards.

This position will support the middle office function in the Bank’s financial market operations. At its core this role provides business analysis services for the production of performance, risk and compliance reporting for the Bank’s foreign and domestic portfolios. You will work closely with the Financial Markets Group, Information Technology Department and Payments Settlements Department and work independently to prepare requirements documents, undertake ongoing design, review and evaluation of business processes, develop optimisation strategies and plan and manage the approach to any project or BAU initiative.

This is a Fixed Term Contract until May 2025.

Your background 

  • Experience as a business analyst to elicit, analyse, document, communicate, and manage the business requirements and user stories.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to assist in pilot and implementation planning, change management and test planning and training materials production.
  • Design and implement strategies for gathering, reviewing and analysing data requirements.
  • Translate complex business, strategic and technical information concisely for diverse audiences.
  • Understand, document and communicate the objectives, drivers and business value proposition of a change.
  • Prioritise initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Provide Business Analysis support of seed funding initiatives and Business Analysis input toward the formation of Business Cases.
  • Document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and use standard Business Analysis tools and techniques including RASCIs, SIPOC analysis, Swim Lanes and related methods.
  • Create representative and conceptual models, prototypes, mock-ups and business and technical specifications.

Your team

Reporting to the Manager, Risk and Compliance Department (RM) Business Operations, you will be part of a small team to support the middle office function in the Bank’s financial market operations. This role works closely with the Financial Markets Group, Information Technology Department and Payments Settlements Department.
