Software Engineer ACRF Image X Institute

  • Located at ACRF Image X Institute based at Australian Technology Park, Eveleigh
  • Fixed Term, full-time for 3 years with possibility of extension for one year with base salary $105K-$118K p.a plus superannuation

About the opportunity 

We are seeking a Software Engineer develop software to support medical device development in the translational research program that focuses on applying cancer imaging and targeted radiotherapy inventions in first-in-human clinical trials. Led by Professor Paul Keall at the ACRF Image X Institute, the program is a partnership between academic researchers and cancer treatment centres.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with a demonstrated scientific programming background or Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with demonstrated software development experience
  • experience with the C# ,C++ and Python programming languages
  • experience with either WinForms or WPF
  • scientific software development
  • software design and design patterns

Our ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
