We're seeking a Program Manager Field Service Model

As the Program Manager Field Service Model you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Field Service Model and associated program. 
The Field Service Model is the business model via which field work is identified, triaged, categorised, planned, scheduled, dispatched and completed. It also includes data capture, generation of and access to information and facilitates continuous improvement and learning. 
 
Involving two key streams, business processes and technology, the Field Service Model program will require the Program Manager to undertake close involvement and consultation with a range of stakeholders across the organisation.
 
You will provide overall program leadership, guidance, and manage requirements and scope of the programs. Key responsibilities also include effective management of stakeholder engagement and expectations and developing and maintaining a strong partnering approach with various business units to deliver outcomes.
 
This role will be engaged as five year fixed term contract.
 
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
 
Essential qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, ICT or other related discipline

Essential work experience

  • A minimum of 5 years business program management and project planning experience
  • Proven ability to successfully manage a program of multiple projects
  • Solid experience in dealing with and negotiating with third party vendors
  • Demonstrated high level oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven experience working effectively in an agile and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft products such as Project, Office, Visio and Sharepoint
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, motivate and develop a team of achievement focused people
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships and influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited direction, identifying trends/issues and acting with initiative to deliver solutions and outcomes
  • Highly developed organisational skills and ability to manage a range of conflicting priorities whilst delivering on key milestones and maintaining stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated initiative and creative aptitude with proven ability to manage a range of cross-functional programs and define business parameters and control systems
 
The following qualifications, skills and experience are not essential but will be highly regarded:
  • Formal qualifications in Program and/or Project Management
  • Business, management or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience in Program Management of a Program(s) in the order of ten million dollars
  • Experience in Program Management within the Government and/or Utility Sector
