Head of Digital Product Management - Tennis

Reporting to the Chief Tennis Officer, you will have broad services and business development responsibility across all of Tennis Australia’s (“TA”) digital and technology products and alliance that are associated with the promotion and experiences across the entire Tennis pathway; players (Hotshots to school to social), clubs, courts (e.g. book-a-court), coaches, competitions and tournaments in collaboration with Member Associations (“MAs”).

As our Head of Digital Product Management – Tennis, you will support our team by:

  • Leading “envisioning to action” across the portfolio; engaging internally and externally to ensure the right directions and outcomes
  • Building and supporting the direct and virtual teams that will operationalise the content, product and project management required to design, develop and effectively operate the portfolio’s properties
  • Nurturing a collaborative environment across internal teams to make it all happen smoothly, e.g. digital delivery, marketing, data & insights, operations, customer service, human-centred design, infrastructure, info-security, etc.
  • Working with third party vendors to create a vibrant but responsible and responsive marketplace of products for clubs and coaches, develop incentives to ensure appropriate and value-added data and services interchange with TA and the MAs
  • Working within your team and with others to ensure that what we imagine and determine, we deliver … on-time, on-quality and on-plan
  • Engaging external parties as required, e.g. data suppliers, software partners, contractors
  • Being an active digital advocate and mentor across Tennis Australia

 
What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience and demonstrable impact as a Digital Product Manager (or similar) in a relevant B2B / B2C domain
  • Hands-on leadership style and ability
  • High level of skill in communication with people from a wide range of backgrounds, face to face, telephone and in written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of tennis will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is preferred
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check andWorking with Children Check.
