About the role
We’re seeking an experience Manager to drive an adaptive IT function with innovative ways of working and improved alignment of IT capabilities to business needs. In this position, you’ll manage the IT Operating Model, technology asset, improvement roadmap and you’ll strategically plan and govern IT, and services provided to customers to align with council wide strategies and plans.
About you
We’re looking for a capable leader with a strong customer service ethos and significant industry experience covering areas such as End User Computing, Data Centre and Hosting, Networks and Unified Communications, Security Management and software based solutions / platforms. Additionally you’ll need effective collaboration skills to work with executive members in defining long term IT models and resources and improvement opportunities to meet ongoing needs and growth. A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.). Professional Project Management Certification (Prince2, PMP MSP etc.) is highly desirable
