An exciting opportunity exists for a senior developer with a strong interest in existing and emerging technologies/practices with commitment to provide outstanding support to the healthcare organisation.

Macquarie Hospital - North Ryde & Gosford Hospital

What you'll be doing
Support & enhance existing apps & databases and develop new apps as required using existing and emerging technologies / practices.

The role will involve working flexible hours and partaking in on call arrangements when necessary

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  2. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, and/or combination of work experience and qualification in a relevant field.
  3. Demonstrated experience in developing and supporting cloud/citrix, client-server and web-based corporate & clinical applications with expertise in using object-oriented programming, C# / VB.NET, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Access DB, VBA, IIS, JavaScript, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio and XML.
  4. Demonstrated experience in administering and management of Web application server, Microsoft SQL Databases and Microsoft Team Foundation server.
  5. Good understanding of SDLC, Application & database life cycle management, project management methodologies and ITIL framework with knowledge of current trends in information technology and their application to development and maintenance of information systems.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to explain complex technical scenarios to a diverse audience with high level negotiation and conflict management skills.
  7. Proven ability to work either unsupervised or as part of a professional team.
  8. Demonstrated understanding of working with Equal Employment Opportunity and Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation requirements.
