Information Technology Service Desk Officer

$74,921 - $80,386 approx.
(incl. super and allowances) 

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Service Desk Officer to join our Information Technology Section.

In this position you will be responsible for effectively managing a wide range of IT helpdesk requests which includes configuring and building new devices, managing support and consumables for all Council's printing devices and in conducting IT inductions with all new Council employees. You will also be required to ensure the daily processing requirements and office administration tasks for the IT Section are completed in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Information Technology or related qualification, a minimum of twelve months experience in a similar role and demonstrated ability to relate and communicate with a variety of users with different technical skill levels.
