City of Darwin have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to drive Council's efficiency and effectiveness with the use of IT. This specialist role will work within the IT Services Section, and work with business operational staff and Subject Matter Experts to properly identify inefficiencies, streamline existing processes and remove non-value adding processes which will then be embedded with areas for system productivities.

Do you have what it takes to succeed in this role?

  • A Tertiary qualification in the field of program delivery or equivalent;
  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in an equivalent role within an IT services organisation;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret business information needs and develop and implement business process improvements;
  • Demonstrated conceptual, creative, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Strong ability to influence and build positive relationships with business users at all levels of the organsation;
  • Demonstrated ability to work largely unsupervised with effective team management and personal organisational skills; and
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating workshops, catering for different learning styles.
