The Senior Frontend Developer contributes to the delivery and support of software capabilities.  Responsible for implementing changes to new and existing software platforms in alignment with both acceptance criteria outlined by business partners and lean development best practices. Working within an agile team environment, collaborate and form relationships with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Backend Developers, UX Designers, Business Analysts and Automation Engineers to deliver a consistent and quality outcome.

In addition, Senior Developers have astute awareness of their broader organisational context, focused on the supportability of their work and on driving small increments of value frequently.

About the Opportunity:

• Estimate work on the backlog and break down stories into logical units of work
• Develop technical specifications based on analysis of business and functional requirements
• Establish standards for development teams and lead initiatives in collaboration with Product, Quality Assurance, User Experience, and other internal groups
• Developer tooling: create, maintain, and contribute to custom framework and component library built in React
• Aid in generation of new ideas and bringing ideas to reality
• Help address technical debt and speed up deliveries
• Develop junior members by conducting code reviews, providing mentorship, pairing, and training opportunities

Your Background:

• 5+ years’ experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience  in React/Nodejs development
• Experience with Jenkins and/or other CI servers (CI/CD pipeline)
• Experience with web frameworks/libraries (Angular, Vue.js etc.)
• Experience with cloud technology (AWS preferred)
• Experience with test driven development and testing frameworks/libraries like Jest, Nightwatch, Testcafe etc.
• Worked in agile teams with focus on quality and continue improvement
