One of Australia’s most highly regarded Federal Government Departments is seeking a skilled and experienced ICT Program Manager/ PMO Portfolio Lead to deliver and implement multiple strategic programs and application architecture to support the modernisation, sustainability and recovery services for the department. The successful ICT Program Manager/ PMO Portfolio Lead will secure an initial contract until 30 June 2020 with extension options at a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful ICT Program Manager/ PMO Portfolio Lead will undertake the following;

• Prepare reports, artefacts and documents for Governance requirements, Project Boards and Senior Exec;
• Undertake Project Manager activities and provide leadership, advice across the program and multiple project streams.
• Work in conjunction with key stakeholders to execute the organisations ICT Strategy;
• Ensure relevant governance arrangements are compliant

The be successful in the position, the ICT Program Manager/ PMO Portfolio Lead should hold the following skills and experience;

• Minimum 5 years’ in a ICT program manager/ PMO Portfolio Lead with experience working with business leads and IT service providers to delivery quality solutions.
• Demonstrated experience using PMBOK, Prince2, Agile, related project methodologies and project control standards;
• Strong understanding of Oracle Applications Development Framework (ADF) and managing applications development projects;
• Experience in managing and mitigating risks across multiple projects and ensuring outcomes are delivered in line with business case and allocated budgets.
