One of Australia's leading State Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Senior Application Developer to empower and envision product improvement opportunities, aligned to business vision and roadmap. They will bring experience and ideas to enhance existing development capability.

The role will be based in Sydney, NSW with the successful Senior Application Developer to be offered a contract until July 2024 with the possibility of an extension!

The successful Senior Application Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Analysis of requirements and technical specification
• Maintain online (web) products using Java based technology stack.
• Establish and demonstrate best practices for UI and Server-side standards
• Ability to automate application deployments using CI/CD pipeline

The successful Senior Application Developer will have experience in the following:

• 7+years of experience using Java web based technology
• 3+years of experience using front end and hybrid mobile apps technology stack
• Quick learner with excellent analytical thinking
• Good experience on working in AWS cloud services
