One of Australia's most progressive Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Data Modeller that is highly proficient with database design and application software to join their team. You will guide the development of data requirements and present complex data models in an accessible and effective format. The role can be based in Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane as well as remote work as they offer flexible working arrangements. The successful Data Modeller will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.

The successful Data Modeller will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Using Agile development practices and processes to maximise the platform environment
• Liaising with stakeholders to better understand business requirements
• Presenting and validating conceptual and physical data models
• Interpreting data using efficient and effective SQL queries

The successful Data Modeller will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver business solutions through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Development
• Experience and knowledge of associated technologies such as Salesforce, MuleSoft and Siebel CRM
• Ability to understand complex concepts and formulate business requirements and legislation
• Experience in Data management principles such as Metadata and Data Governance
