Assist research groups to design applications and architect workflows for their research.

As the Business Computational Specialist you will be responsible for delivering data and visualisation solutions to CIC researchers from the Curtin Business School. This will involve assisting research groups to design applications and architect workflows for their research and guidance to deploy their applications on cloud and supercomputing resources as appropriate.

To be successful, you require a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with a combination of relevant experience in the installation, support and development of computer applications. Proficiency in at least one compiled language (e.g. Java, C, C++, GAUSS) and one scripting language (such as R, Python, MATLAB, Octave, or Javascript) is essential.
