The Opportunity
The Research Scientist will focus on a mixture of analysing existing data sets and developing a new dataset to address key questions for multiple international case studies. The role will be focused on an externally funded project that supports maritime surveillance in international waters.
The Scientist will provide input to methodological approaches and analysis, including troubleshooting and identifying/carrying out new analyses as needed; collaborate and cooperate with team members to deliver excellent research, on time, on target to external funders, and participate in the development of new research proposals and funding opportunities as part of an integrated team.

Location: Hobart, Tasmania
Tenure: Specified term of up to 3.5 years
Salary: AU$97K – AU$105K + up to 15.4% superannuation
