CSIRO Information Management and Technology (IMT) is committed to introducing and maintaining up-to-date, quality information services to support CSIRO’s strategic objectives. To achieve this the IMT Client Services team need highly motivated individuals with an interest in becoming IT professionals, to assist the delivery of IT services to our clients and to support our systems that underpin scientific and engineering research. 

Client Services staff are the primary contact for all IT related services in CSIRO and provide: -

  • Service desk telephone support using remote desktop technologies to assist with immediate resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Onsite support for tasks requiring physical assistance to solve problems.
  • IT solutions to clients to assist with analysing complex scientific and engineering research.

You …..

  • Have prior experience working in customer service where you demonstrated your service delivery focus.
  • Are effective when interacting with customers because you have excellent oral and written communication skills, are well organised and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Are a collaborative, self-motivated team player with initiative and the ability and willingness to work under general direction.
  • Have an ability to learn and follow defined organisational procedures and processes to achieve operational objectives.
  • Have a Year 12 completion certificate (e.g. HSE, VCE) or equivalent.
