CSIRO Engineering Fellowship in Automation of Porous Materials Science for Energy Applications

CSIRO Early Research Career (CERC) Postdoctoral Fellowships provide opportunities to scientists and engineers who have completed their doctorate and have less than three years of relevant postdoctoral work experience. These fellowships aim to develop the next generation of future leaders of the innovation system.
In this position you will develop new capability in the automated synthesis and characterisation of porous materials for energy applications and beyond. The project will focus on developing automated methods of material synthesis and the development of novel characterization methods to rapidly evaluate the materials. The Fellow will have access to CSIRO’s automated chemistry platforms and will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team comprised of chemists, engineers, and experts in characterisation. Opportunities for collaboration with our national and international partners are expected.

Salary: AU$89k - AU$98k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
