I am currently supporting a client within NSW Government in their search for a Social Data Analyst. We are seeking a confident, environmentally focussed research officer to effectively hit the ground whilst having a passion for social science. 

About the Role

• The Social Data Analyst provides analysis and evaluation expertise. as well as high level strategic, evidence-based advice to support the core activities of the Portfolio. 
• Generating presentations and dashboards to coincide with the data obtained
• Generation of ideas and data in relation to social and behavioural sentiments within NSW community 

Skills & Experience

• Relevant Social Science qualification
• 2-4 years experience in either social or environment research role
• Proven experience in a similar Data Analyst role 
• Strong background knowledge in data visualisation and analytics
• Proven experience as part of a Reporting & Analytics function
• Good communication and engagement skills
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing demands
• Great attitude and not afraid to roll up their sleeves
• Strong Excel, Q Research and SPSS experience
