What you'll be doing

To set up and generate standard and ad hoc reports as required by our business and customers. This will include liaison with all stakeholders to ensure reporting is both effective and efficient. This will include development of SQL scripts to extract data and other database work under the direction of the Senior Performance Analyst. Develop standard reports that provide business performance and trends. Provide training to the users of the report to interpret the information in the reports.

You will be asked to complete psychometric assessment (e.g. personality and cognitive abilities assessments) in the recruitment process for this position.

  • Experience in data analytics in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes sound knowledge and practical experience in working with data capture, extraction, analysis and preparation of reports to assist in business planning, forecasting and process improvements and understanding of management accounting
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of complex data, trend analysis and a working knowledge of shared business services financial data in terms of identification of relevant data, repositories, extraction and interpretation
  • Demonstrated working experience of Microsoft Word and Excel / Access / SQL and Business Intelligence software
  • Sound analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
  • Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders;
