About AFSA

The Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) is an executive agency in the Attorney General’s portfolio.  We are responsible for the administration and regulation of the personal insolvency system, trustee services and the administration of the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR).  We support the flow of capital into the Australian economy and promote transparency and predictability of outcomes within the financial sector.

 

As a Senior Test Analyst you are responsible for the workload management to complete testing deliverables for maintenance, compliance and projects. You will undertake test planning, scope the testing required, estimate the effort and duration of testing, and determine resource and environment requirements. Work closely with other testers, developers, business analysts and ICT colleagues, as well engage with other business stakeholders and users and promote a culture of quality.

 

About the role

  • Maintain AFSA’s automated & regression testing frameworks & systems
  • Plan and organise workload to achieve high quality outcomes
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the System and User Acceptance Testing
  • Analyse requirements and assist in the preparation of detailed testing documentation
  • Communicate clearly to diverse audiences with influence and confidence
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders to implement test plans
  • Maintain AFSA’s test tracking systems and in accordance with testing frameworks
  • Contribute to identification, reporting and mitigation of risks in your area

About You

  • Experience with test automation tools (eg.Tosca) and practices
  • Experience testing user interfaces and APIs
  • Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment
  • ISTQB Foundation certified (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5+ years working in a ICT test analyst role
  • Experience using test management tools (eg. Zephyr, TFS)
  • Exceptional communication, analytical and presentation skills
