The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Division is responsible for working with and supporting all Managers and staff within the department to establish an appropriate financial management framework, and exercise financial management responsibilities and controls in accordance with legislation and contribute to the department’s delivery of government outcomes. 

The Financial Systems Branch assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Division with business process improvement, project management and financial system support, locating areas where process efficiencies can be achieved, maintaining the SAP finance module including providing a level one help desk, testing and security functions and the development and support of the Budget Management System (TM1). The Branch also provides a Financial Helpdesk Service and accounts payable and receivable functions (Accounting Operations).

 The role will involve working within the TM1 Management Systems Support Section to develop, administer and support the Department of Human Services’ Budget Management System which is based on IBM Cognos TM1 (TM1) software. This will include working collaboratively with business units across the Department to assist with the design, testing and implementation of TM1 system enhancements, and to provide user training.

The successful candidate will be required to currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance. A Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance may be required in the future.
