About the role

This role will see you taking responsibility for leading the Faculty's Technical Services teams to enable excellence in the core activities of teaching, research and industry engagement.
You will be a member of the Faculty Executive, Faculty Board, Resources & Infrastructure Management Committee and Technical Services Management Committee; as such, the role participates in key decision-making processes of the Faculty.

Directing the resourcing of the Faculty in relation to technical, infrastructure and operational matters you will contribute to the development of the faculty strategic plan, taking responsibility for the implementation of the technical and infrastructure aspects of this plan across the faculty.

As the advisor to the Faculty Executive on Technical Services operations and facilities across multiple disciplines you will ensure that a high standard of technical support is available to all staff and students in order to fulfil the teaching and research goals of the Faculty.

You will also be responsible for planning and leading the Faculty’s strategic infrastructure and systems projects and ensuring they support the faculty’s strategic plan and meet legislative and UTS governance requirements.

Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: An attractive and competitive salary package will be negotiated with the appointee. Salary packaging is also available.

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary

The initial term of the appointment will be five years. The University will determine re-appointment to a further term after consultation with the appointee and following a performance review towards the conclusion of the initial term.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
