PhD Scholarships for Local Students - [Archived Advertisement]

The UTS School of Systems, Management and Leadership is calling for local applications for PhD scholarships commencing in 2016. Students in a PhD program within the School will participate in industry linked multi-disciplinary research to support their career aspirations. This is fostered through the strong industry and academic linkages the school has built over the years both domestically and internationally

Students are invited to apply for Australian Postgraduate Awards and UTS Doctoral Scholarships worth $26,288 per annum. There are additional $10,000 Top-up scholarships available for applicants who have attained First Class Honours in Australian universities.

Applicants who have attained Second Class Honours Division 1 are also encouraged to apply for the APA/UTSD.

Eligibility:

• The scholarships are open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
• Must be available for fulltime study

Specific research programs within the School of Systems Management and Leadership include:

• technology management and leadership
• service innovation
• managing system development in increasingly complex environments
• operations and risk management
• managing innovation in industry
• energy policy and planning
• systems theory and practice.
