The faculty, which comprises Monash Business School in Australia as well as schools in South Africa and Malaysia, is amongst the biggest business schools anywhere in the world and it is home to almost a quarter of Monash's student body. Research-intensive, its departments range across disciplines such as accounting, banking and finance, economics, econometrics, business law and taxation, management and marketing.

Monash Business School is seeking to recruit a Senior Engagement and Marketing Services Manager to lead the Engagement Services portfolio across the school. This exciting role leads the development and implementation of innovative and outcome-driven programs in external and alumni engagement, business development and student careers development, as well as leading the student recruitment and communications functions for the business school.

In this newly created leadership position, you will play a key part in shaping the future of the business school as it grows and develops its professional workforce. This investment in people will give the business school the scope and flexibility to build on its core capabilities and also to pursue strategic opportunities in research and education, to secure new revenue streams and to build enduring business relationships with industry, government and other stakeholders.

You will have extensive executive management experience in complex environments and proven capability in developing high performing teams. Your ability to forge successful collaborations will be vital for your success in implementing strategic objectives and driving large scale change within a dynamic environment. You will have extensive experience in public relations, communications, media and/or marketing, preferably in an academic related environment, as well as engaging with industry and other stakeholders to deliver growth and strategic outcomes. It is imperative that you are deeply invested in the engagement and building of business and industry partnerships, therefore demonstrated experience in this field is paramount.
