The multi disciplinary Robinson Research Institute melds innovative engineering and applied physics to build advanced technologies for businesses worldwide. It has an international reputation in the area of High Temperature Superconductivity (HTS) and related technologies.

We are seeking a new Director to lead an expert team of 25 scientists and engineers who create and commercialize applications of HTS and other technologies with industry partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the continued success of the Robinson Research Institute by planning strategically for the Institute’s future. The successful applicant will develop business opportunities both domestically and internationally, develop and maintain a diverse range of credible and productive relationships and foste rand maintain excellent research.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a dynamic individual with a proven track record of providing strong strategic and research leadership. You will have proven experience in developing beneficial relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and funding bodies, and will be a highly skilled and experienced researcher, with a track record of success in a relevant discipline.
