Assistant Director ICT Procurement 

About the Role:                                                                                     
As Assistant Director, ICT Procurement, you will lead and manage the procurement function within AFSA’s ICT Services Division (ICTSD).  You’ll provide technical ICT procurement expertise and work closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and ICTSD management to deliver major and high risk ICT procurements, develop strategies for asset replacement and procuring emerging technologies, and coordinate ICTSD’s procurement plan.

You’ll partner with AFSA’s corporate procurement and contract governance teams ensure ICTSD’s activities meet legislative and policy requirements as well as outcomes for AFSA and our clients.

About You:

To achieve success in this role, you will have:

  • experience advising on and delivering ICT procurement outcomes, ideally in the public sector
  • the ability to apply strategic thinking and planning to achieve results through procurement and contract management 
  • strong communication and relationship management skills
