About AFSA

The Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) is responsible for managing the application of bankruptcy and personal property securities laws through the delivery of personal insolvency and trustee, regulation and enforcement and personal property securities services.

About the Role

The Assistant Director Application Development will lead AFSA’s agile development team and deliver successful strategic initiatives across business areas. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives. You will facilitate workshops in a collaborative, agile environment to engage with diverse stakeholders, business units and governance committees. Your ability to lead a high performing team that develops a comprehensive understanding of client requirements will see you succeed in this role.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience leading an agile development team. Your ability to achieve results and design enhancements to current process will ensure delivery outcomes and success with application development initiatives. Your ability to develop productive working relationships and ensure effective stakeholder engagement will embed a collaborative agile environment.
