The Royal Australian Navy Tactical Electronic Warfare Support Section (RANTEWSS) is a dynamic operational unit located within the Naval Air Station, HMAS Albatross, at Nowra Hill on the South Coast of NSW. The unit’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services are provided by the imbedded Navy Deployable SIGINT Systems (NDSS) section of the Naval Technical Bureau, Above Water Sensors Technology cell. 

The ICT section is seeking a creative, motivated and experienced ICT Systems Administrator to work in a diverse, dynamic and challenging environment. Duties include building and supporting complex ICT solutions for the shore-based in-house environment as well as for deployable mobile platforms. Relevant training or experience in one or more of the following is necessary:               

1. Microsoft server technologies,  
2. Virtualisation technologies in VMware/ESXI environments,           
3. TCP/IP networking, and
4. Microsoft desktop solutions.

The ICT Systems Administrator will have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative, be flexible and prioritise competing requirements. They must administer, comply and promote legislative, regulatory, procedural, policy and program requirements of Defence within a high security environment.
