APS6 TM1 System Support Officer


The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Division is responsible for working with and supporting all managers and staff within the department to establish an appropriate financial management framework, and exercise financial management responsibilities and controls in accordance with legislation and contribute to the department’s delivery of government outcomes.

The Financial Systems and Operations Branch assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Division with business process improvement, project management and financial system support, locating areas where process efficiencies can be achieved, maintaining the SAP finance module including providing a level one help desk, testing and security functions and the development and support of the Budget Management System (TM1).The Branch also provides a Financial Helpdesk Service and accounts payable and receivable functions (Accounting Operations).

The role will involve working within the TM1 Systems Section to develop, administer and support the Department of Human Services’ Budget Management System which is based on IBM TM1 software. The TM1 Support Officer will work collaboratively with business units across the Department to assist with the design, development, testing and implementation of TM1-based business solutions and enhancements, including the delivery of end user training.

The successful applicant may be required to work at, or attend meetings in other ACT DHS locations from time to time. Interstate travel may be required to deliver TM1 training.

Security Clearance - The successful candidate will be required to currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
