We have an exciting opportunity for a full time, continuing Head, Videoconferencing and Audiovisual Services. The position is remunerated at $110,653 - $117,040 p.a. plus 17% employer super contribution, and can be based in either Townsville or Cairns.

 

What you can accomplish in the role

Play a key strategic role in leading and managing all aspects of videoconferencing and audiovisual technologies across all James Cook University (JCU) campuses and sites, ensuring the delivery of outstanding videoconferencing and audiovisual solutions, technology enabled spaces and excellent services to JCU staff and students.

You will lead your own multi-site team and oversee the management of multi-million dollar ICT assets. It will also be an engaging and rewarding experience as an active member of the Technology Solutions (TS) leadership team, and a key contributor to establishing and leading the University’s strategic direction in Digital technology.

 

What you will bring to the role

You will bring extensive relevant experience in the development & management of Videoconferencing and AudioVisual services in large enterprise environments, the ability to lead and mentor a high performing team, a track record of excellent customer services and great stakeholders management skills, and a passion and vision for outstanding videoconferencing and audiovisual experiences.
