Our Technology Division is looking for an experienced and proactive leader to coordinate the successful delivery of projects within the Digital team.

As the Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the team towards delivering the new digital and design capabilities. If you like to lead teams, keep up to date with technology trends, are able to take initiative and uncover new opportunities and translate these into working solutions, then this is the role for you!

About the role

  • Contribute to delivery across multiple functions for the Retail and Evoenergy business, ensuring that the branch follows a “lean start-up” philosophy and adopts pragmatic agile principles
  • Provide advice that is strategic and critical to each business area's direction, thrust and development of major business activities/agency programs
  • Resolve problems using a synthesis of facts, detailed analysis, interpretation and evaluation of relevant data, including the close investigation of alternative approaches to the problem.
  • Lead and coach team members into an effective and high performing team through mentoring and motivating, to ensure delivery of outstanding quality and innovative digital products
  • Build and champion relationships between Technology, Retail business and other business units
  • Become a trusted advisor on the effective use of Technology, within Digital and Experience Design for ActewAGL
  • Ensure the team has a commercial focus, adhering to budget forecasts whilst achieving committed service quality
  • Foster a culture of commercial accountability and focus within the Retail IT Branch to ensure prudent and efficient solutions are delivered in a capital and resource constrained environment
  • Manage contracts within the framework, including formal contract performance evaluations and continuous review of business requirements to find opportunities for improvement

Do you have:

  • Strong leadership skills in a complex technical/ professional environment, and the ability influence the team in adopting the agile principles and practices
  • Proven experience in a Delivery Manager, Program Manager or equivalent capacity
  • Significant experience working in and leading an agile environment
  • Experience working in a large competitive Digital Agency environment advantageous
  • Demonstrated high level business and financial acumen including interpreting financial data to report the budget position of the branch and projects Bachelor’s degree and experience in IT systems management, specifically supporting Office 365
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, issues and risk management to assist with developing long term operational and strategic plans
  • The ability to frequently resolve unusual problems and develop and oversee the implementation of products
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex deployments and adoption, with expertise in Microsoft Office 365 deployment tools and management solutions
