The opportunity:
As an Associate Engineer the role will require you to work on various customer sites to support networking infrastructure. The work will be diverse day to day covering both operational task and project tasks.
You will use your experience, knowledge of data centre infrastructure and initiative to work with network engineers to resolve networking issues at customer sites. Those same skills will be needed with project requests to ensure that networking devices are installed and cabled to the highest standards to meet customer requirements.

Your excellent communication skills will be needed to ensure our customers are kept up to date with the work you are doing on their site and when you are working with network engineers to resolve issues.
You will use you diligence and initiative to take ownership of any issues identified on a customer site to develop an acceptable solution that meets customer requirements while maintaining the integrity, security and reliability of the installed networking infrastructure.

You'll need to have:

  • Valid drivers' licence
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience working with all aspects of data centre networking infrastructure
  • Good understanding of data centre UPS, air conditioning and environmental monitoring systems
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Willing to be part of an after hours on call roster
