The National Data Acquisition Centre (NDAC) is implementing new Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and re-engineered data acquisition processes to support contemporary provider engagement. These new ICT capabilities will enable NDAC to modernise processes and transform the collection and management of statistical information to improve efficiency, usability, and timeliness.

NDAC is recruiting for multiple positions across various levels (APS4, APS5, APS6 and EL1) and business streams. Permanent and temporary employment opportunities across levels and salaries will be offered depending on business need, and the skills, experience and qualifications of successful applicants.

We are looking for people who have one or more of the following:  

  • Survey design, web design and programming skills (e.g. Javascript, Visual Basic, C++)
  • Knowledge/experience in the management of IT systems
  • Computer and Data Science aptitude and/or experience
  • PEGA 7, Confirmit and Informatica applications experience
  • InDesign experience
  • Advanced SQL/SAS/Excel skills
  • Behavioural economics/science qualifications or experience
  • Data transformation, manipulation and exchange experience

There will be three dedicated teams: Provider Design Hub, Infrastructure Implementation Team and System Integration and Support, to manage the transition to new data acquisition ICT infrastructure and business processes.
