Project Risk Specialist - Cloud & Infrastructure Technology

As the Project Risk Specialist - IT Cloud & Infrastructure Technology, you will project deliver Cloud and infrastructure technology risk management in support of change to our enterprise level Risk Management projects to the Technology and IT teams at the bank. Essential for this position will be your Technology and IT Risk knowledge and particular experience in Cloud Computing and IT Infrastructure enterprise risk.

As part of the enterprise Risk Management team, you will work directly within Risk Management project teams as an integral part to manage and drive end-to-end risk throughout the project lifecycle. You will identify, assess, and monitor Cloud and Infrastructure risk and provide oversight for mitigation actions in line with Bank’s risk management framework.

You will also be responsible to ensure all relevant reviews are considered including second line review with full responsibility for development and management of risk logs, documentation, and reporting. You will also focus on accurate, consistent delivery of comprehensive and risk communication by producing timely risk reporting and build standardised risk documentation processes and ensure all relevant risks and mitigation actions are included in monthly SteerCo updates on IT Cloud and Infrastructure delivery, the delivered risks and monthly status reports.

Your background

• Advanced knowledge of technology risk and experience with cloud computing and infrastructure risks.
• Experience in project risk management is highly desirable.
• Ability to work with senior IT and Technology stakeholders to enhance risk capability within the organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to produce insightful risk reports which generate improvements and drive change.
• Proven experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business management or risk management will be highly regarded.
• Certifications relevant to technology risk and/or cloud technologies will be highly regarded.

Your team

As a key member of a newly created team, you will be part of the foundations to build and grow this new practice. The Risk and Compliance Department supports the consistent and effective application of the Bank's framework for managing risk and compliance obligations, both at the enterprise level and for individual business units across the Bank. It also advises on and implements the risk management framework governing the Bank’s operations in financial markets.
