About the Opportunity

The Information Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the efforts to integrate various system platforms across the Library. Ensuring that all systems work seamlessly together, optimising workflow and improving efficiencies, the Information Systems Manager will lead a team of specialists and developers responsible for implementing integration solutions that support the Library's goals.

About You

The ideal candidate possesses expertise in system integration, methodologies and technologies as well as extensive knowledge of operating systems and databases. Ideally, you are proficient in various programming languages with a specific focus on middleware, API management, and system architecture design.

In addition, you will come to us with:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic plans for system integration, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and enhancing overall system efficiency.
  • Proven experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams of technical experts and developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Extensive experience in overseeing complex integration projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Project management certifications such as PMP are highly advantageous.
  • Experience in designing and implementing integration solutions that optimise system compatibility and performance, including working with middleware, API management, and various operating systems, databases, and programming languages.
  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including non-technical stakeholders, to understand and meet their organisational/operational needs.
