A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage a skilled Business Analyst to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and ensure requirements align to the target architecture and business use cases. The successful Business Analyst will be offered a 12 month contract with potential extensions and lucrative daily rates!

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Develop a traceability framework for project team members to follow to ensure all project deliverables link to an agreed business outcome.
• Elicit and document business and technical requirements to support the strategy and goals.
• Analyse and document business processes and data flows to provide current and future state context.
• Review and provide feedback on business and technical design documents to ensure designs align with expected business outcomes.

The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Leading hands-on business and technical requirement development and stakeholder validation in a large-scale business data transformation program.
• Strong expertise documenting data and process flows to analyse and provide context to business and technical requirements.
• Practical Agile Delivery framework experience, developing Initiatives, Epics, User Stories, User Acceptance Criteria and other documentation.
• Strong proficiency with JIRA and Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word is highly desirable.
• Experience implementing Cloud Data Lake and/or Data Warehouse applications and AWS Cloud Data Architecture experience is advantageous
