NBN Co is looking to enforce ‘fair use’ rules for fixed-line users.

Reports say the network operator will outline a clear definition of what users can do to get booted off the network.

“NBN Co has had fair use policies for several years, the wording of them keeps changing and they have been largely unenforced, except for satellite users,” a report from local tech media outlet iTnews says.

It appears that NBN Co will move to call out “inappropriate and excessive” usage, including unauthorised “stress testing or volume testing” of connections.
