The New South Wales Government has announced it will expand the NSW ICT Industry Advisory Panel .

State Minister for Services, Greg Pearce, said the appointment of the three extra specialists will bring further diverse expertise to the panel as the state overhauls its ICT policy framework.

“Over the past 12 months, this  panel has made an invaluable contribution to the government’s comprehensive overhaul of ICT policy and strategy,” Mr Pearce said.

“The government is now  seeking applications from interested individuals within the ICT industry to fill three positions,” he said.

“One of these positions is new, and will see the panel expanded to eight, while two other others will step in to vacating positions,” he said.

Mr Pearce said the panel chair, Deutsche Bank executive John Baird, will remain in the role for a further 12 months.
