Service NSW is marking a decade of revolutionary change.

The ten-year anniversary of Service NSW, a digital-led customer service reform in New South Wales, has been celebrated with praise for the public servants who challenged the departmental and statutory agency silos.

With the NSW election looming, neither side of politics is talking about rescinding the machinery of government changes that fused together the front-facing functions of motor registries, licensing, births, deaths, and marriages.

The one-stop-shop model pioneered by Service NSW has brought huge leaps in convenience and has been demonstrated during COVID.

Despite attempts by the Canberra government, Service NSW's brand remains unmatched.

Outgoing NSW minister for customer service and digital government, Victor Dominello, praised the Service NSW app and the investments made into Service Centres.

Dominello has also announced exciting new projects that will be rolled out in 2023 and beyond, including Digital ID and Digital Birth Certificate.
