An exciting opportunity for a .NET Software Developer to join our ICT Applications team.
People and Performance provides critical business support services across the department, including Communications and Engagement, Organisational Development and Learning, Human Resources, Wellbeing and Safety, Business Improvement and Technology, and the Incident Management Unit. Role Details

The Software Developer is a role within Business Improvement Technology and is accountable to the ICT Applications and Program Manager for:

  • exercising technical responsibility for all stages in the software development process
  • preparing project and quality plans and advising systems development teams
  • undertaking configuration, maintaining, and improving the performance of existing software and technology
  • participating in definition of architectural standards for software design and ensure projects are developed in accordance with specified architecture
  • working with business areas to support existing CRM (Salesforce & Dynamics).

To Succeed you will need to have:

  1. Hands on experience in .Net, Java Script and SQL.
  2. Experience developing in Salesforce and Apex is desirable.
  3. Specialist knowledge and experience in all aspect of SDLC to design, develop and test high quality software applications.
  4. Experience in RDBMS and databased concepts.
  5. Demonstrate ability to analyze problems, initiate constructive discussion and to assess and differentiate between actual and desirable outcomes.
  6. Analyze complex information, conceptualize issues and develop practical solutions.
  7. Develop and maintain constructive and effective working relationships that foster the trust and cooperation of a wide cross section of key stakeholders and communities.
  8. Aptitude to determine priorities, manage complex and competing priorities and develop effective resolutions both individually and through working with others.
  9. Ability to scope, develop, implement and evaluate complex projects.

Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department. The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the role.
