About the Role: 

The ICT Coordinator is responsible for maintaining day-to-day IT operations and providing support to students and staff across six Regional NSW campuses. This role involves comprehensive IT support and customer service, encompassing software and hardware troubleshooting, and advisory services.

The position primarily involves rotating on-site duties at the specified campuses, necessitating travel and occasional overnight stays. While focused on the primary campuses, there may be occasions where assistance is required at other campuses supported by the IT team.

Primary Campus Focus:

  • Condobolin 
  • Albury
  • Goulburn
  • Wagga Wagga 
  • Leeton
  • Cowra

All campuses are supported by a third party (Aurora), managing IT infrastructure and providing first-level remote support. The IT Coordinator will collaborate with Aurora's remote technicians to deliver on-site support.

Reporting directly to the Regional Director of IT, your responsibilities will include:

  • Respond to technical assistance requests in person, via phone, or electronically.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Advise users and internal staff on appropriate actions.
  • Maintain communication with customers, updating them on incident progress and scheduled outages.
  • Handle client calls and remote requests through internal ticketing systems.
  • Conduct IT equipment audits and manage assets.
  • Follow standard help desk procedures and escalate urgent situations.
  • Assist with schools' IT budget input and procurement of IT equipment.
  • Coordinate installation and configuration of VC equipment.
  • Maintain the laptop fleet as per regional directions.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Regional IT Director or Leadership.
