Head of Real Time Content

The Real Time Content value stream lead is responsible for driving and delivering the strategy, design and delivery of the Real Time Content programme of work, capability and team as part of the Single Customer View Tribe. This is a senior leadership role, which requires complex and advanced technology and data capabilities in order to enable the desired outcomes. 

The key objective of Real Time Content is to drive impactful content that is lean and scalable while bringing balance to our inventory decisioning. Real Time Content will automate shared inventory by serving relevant content from an integrated platform, leveraging scalable “next best action” decisioning across web & app. It will scale content variation, expand modelled and contextual decisioning, and be built in an integrated platform geared for performance and customer privacy.

What you’ll do    

Lead the Real Time Content value stream to deliver best in class products to orchestrate the next best action offer, content and message communications, at the right time, across channels.

  • Develop scalable and efficient orchestration and content automation products that can accommodate the large amount of data available at WooliesX, and create better connected customer communications across web & app.
  • Define and optimise the delivery approach and ways of working, aligned and integrated with the broader Single Customer View Tribe, and Connected Customer BU teams.
  • Define the strategy, objectives and priorities for Real Time Content, in collaboration with key stakeholders across the WooliesX and Group.
  • Engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders (Tribes, Practices, Chapters, CoE’s) across WooliesX to ensure alignment and influence desired outcomes.
  • Understand and analyse strategies and objectives of business entities and identify opportunities, synergies and dependencies with the Real Time Content.
  • Effective communication of complex data and technical solutions to stakeholders and how they contribute to the delivery of business objectives and connected customer strategic ambitions.
  • Identify the business and customer value of each initiative to ensure that the right value is being delivered at the right time by the Squads.

What you’ll bring    

  • 5-10 years of digital, technology, programmatic and/or data experience at a leadership level with a strong understanding of marketing, marketing technology, advertising technology, targeting, and audience personalisation.
  • A thought leader with a passion for digital transformation, innovation and process improvement.
  • Proven experience in leading dedicated cross-functional product, engineering, data and experience teams.
  • Proven technical understanding of digital media, digital marketing and audience orchestration.
  • Experience in developing end to end technical, data and customer experience  product solutions to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and create innovative and pragmatic solutions leveraging critical thinking.
  • Customer-centric approach and and understanding of human centred design (HCD).
