One of Australia’s most reputable Federal Government Department is looking to engage an enthusiastic and experienced Solution Architect to drive a Solution Outcome within the department. The successful Solution Architect will be offered an initial 12 Month contract with a view to further extend at an attractive hourly rate. 

The successful Solution Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to ;

• Contributing in the overall design of the data and integration architecture being developed
• Specifying the infrastructure requirements and architecture required to support the Services architecture
• Leading the Design of the Target state architecture for the delegated Solution Component
• Assisting in developing patterns
• Developing solution architecture in accordance with Architecture Principles, reference architectures and Security guidelines

The successful Solution Architect must have experience in the following;

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a solution architect in the following domains i.e. Data Centres, WAN, LAN Networks, Compute Platforms, Backup and Recovery Services
• Ability to create, update/maintain transition and end state documentation including Roadmaps
• Knowledge of Architecture Models and Methodologies
• Demonstrated experience designing service patterns
• Experience in Cloud Solution Architecture is highly desirable
