One of Australia's most Progressive Federal Government Departments is looking to engage Multiple Data/Software Engineers to work within a multidisciplinary team Implementing both a state-of-the-art Analytics Platforms and Enterprise Data Warehouse. The successful Data/Software Engineers will be offered an initial 12 Month contract with a view to extend at a competitive rate.

The successful Data/Software Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Delivering a variety of data services that range from web services to analytical datasets.
  • Enabling a fail fast methodology across the Agency to shorten the feedback loop and increase the delivery cadence.
  • Integrating testing and DevOps capabilities.
  • Implementing a new Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and analytics platform.
  • Building capabilities to identify and treat data quality issues.

The successful Data/Software Engineers must have the following;

  • Experience working within an Agile Environment.
  • Understanding of the automation in various phases of the SDLC lifecycle.
  • RDBMS Experience (Teradata, SAS & SSIS)
  • Software development experience utilising Python, Groovy etc.
  • Experience in ETL / Data Warehousing would be advantageous
