Release Manager - Scheme Platforms Environment - Federal Government

One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Release Manager to undertake major work programs to deliver innovative ICT based solutions. You will report to the Director of the program and be responsible for the establishment and execution of Release Management processes. The role can be based out of their Canberra or Melbourne offices with flexible working arrangements available. The successful Release Manager will be offered a 12 month contract with possible extension options.

The successful Release Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Executing the Release Management processes inclusive of scheduling, coordinating and management of releases across multiple applications
• Coordinating recurring reviews and refinement of release content
• Developing and maintaining the Release Schedule and balancing technical requirements
• Producing regular Release Reporting to represent Change Management activities

The successful Release Manager will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience in establishing and managing Release Management processes  
• Experience managing releases and delivery systems based on contemporary platforms such as MuleSoft and Salesforce
• Strong knowledge of Project Management, Software Development and System Delivery
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and recognised qualifications in Project Management and SAFe Agile
